Situated in the Lerderderg State Park in western Victoria, the East Walk and Cowan Track is steeped in history as it follows the Lerderderg River in amongst some old mine shafts.
Beginning and ending at O’Briens Crossing – a popular campsite for families and outdoor enthusiasts alike – this 14km adventure follows the river for sometime before turning to traditional bushwalking trails that will get the heart racing as we climb some steep, gradual hills.
As there are some steep sections in this adventure, you are invited to bring hiking poles if you feel they will assist you where necessary.
In partnership with Suburban Wholefoods, adventurers will also have the choice of 1x wrap & 2x protein balls for their lunch for the day. Options include:
Chicken & cheese
Egg, bacon & cheese
Peanut Butter & Chocolate
