We are happy to refund or exchange the product if it has a manufacturer fault or if it doesn’t meet your expectations.
Products that are on sale cannot be refunded or exchanged.
Please note, that we accept refunds or exchanges up to a maximum of 14 days from the day of purchase.
A returned product has to be in original packaging and it cannot be used, washed or treated in any way.
A returned product has to be in completely new condition in order to be accepted by us. Otherwise it will be sent back to you and a refund will not be honoured.
If you change your mind about a made to order or a made to measure product that has not been yet delivered to you, 50% of the payment will not be refunded.
Pertaining to all Brubeck products, Brubeck grants warranty that the goods/products are free of physical defects for a period of 2 years from the date the goods/products were received by the buyer. This warranty strictly does not cover damage caused anything but not limited to damage caused by improper care, negligence, accident, normal wear and tear, or the natural breakdown of materials and colours over an extended period of times and use.
Quality of our Products
Our philosophy is to deliver the highest quality product that will be yours for many years. At The Hiking Society, we research the market carefully and chooses only the highest quality products that can be used in extreme conditions.
We check all items carefully before we send them to you. In the instance that the goods are damaged during delivery, please sign courier’s note “DAMAGED” and please contact us immediately.
All items are carefully checked before dispatch. In case the goods are not up to your expectations, please return them to us in “as new” within 14 days for a full refund. If the item/items have been used, you will not be able to return the item/items and a refund will not be given. If the products are damaged whilst being used, we will assist you in having them professionally repaired by the manufacturer, and where we deem the repair is necessary due to product defect, we will happily have the product repaired (or replaced) under warranty.
Standard delivery time is up to 5 working days within Australia but delivery time may be subject to stock availability and may take up to 5 weeks. We will always advise you in case of longer delivery time.
All made to measure/custom products are handmade in Europe and it may take up to two months for those items to be delivered to you. You should advise us if your order is urgent so that we can prioritize production of your product.
Our aim is to deliver your order as fast as possible, but unfortunately, we will not take responsibility or liability due to any delays resulting from postal delays or force majeure.
Delivery is free Australia wide for all orders over $60. We use Australia Post as our preferred postal service and we are happy to ship your order Express with next day delivery. Should you require Express shipping, please select this option when at the checkout when making your order.
In the event you are located outside of Australia, please contact us for delivery times and charges.
