The Hiking Society in collaboration with Hiked Adventures is proud to bring you this incredible Cathedral Ranges Overnight Adventure.
From Cooks Mill campsite we head west along a track that will take us to Ned’s Gully, we will then head beginning our gradual ascent to Ned’s Peak where the views of the surrounding areas are at an all-time high.
It is at this point where the formed path disappears for a period of time and you’ll be required to rock hop along the Ridge Line Track to the popular Farmyard; which is a great spot for an extended break. The highlight of this section is you’ll get 360 views of surrounding towns such as Kinglake, Buxton, Taggerty and Marysville. On a clear day, there is no better place to be.
Water sources are scarce on the trail but we’ve got you covered as we’ll supply you with enough water. As a special, we will be providing lunch.
Non-transport booking – $55
Transport inclusive booking – $90
Please email email@example.com to confirm which pickup location you will be at if you book us for transport.
We deem this hike to be a Grade Four hike in accordance with the Australian Walking Track Grading System.

Re: the Cathedral Ranges Northern Circuit – This hike includes a consistently steep hike up to the range and then requires both hiking and rock scrambling across the Ridge Line where the track is never flat. Our guides are there to support and lead you but you will need strong fitness to hike potentially 6-7 hours across this type of terrain. If you are unsure, just coming back to hiking or recovering from injury/surgery please contact us to chat about whether this hike is suitable for you.
