An adventure very much for all you beginner hikers out there, come with us as we take a laid back wander and explore the Dandenong Ranges National Park.
Starting off with the Sherbrooke Falls Loop, we’ll adventure along this 8km trail through dense green ferns and giant Mountain Ash synonymous with the Dandenongs, as well as making a stop at the viewing platform overlooking the falls.
We’ll then make our way further into the forest before heading up Hillclimb Track and back to the trailhead.
Now, there’s nothing like hitting up a cafe straight after an adventure, so that’s exactly what we’ll be doing when we stop in at the Olinda Cafe where you’ll have the opportunity to get something to eat and drink.
Once we’re done at the cafe, we’ll continue on our adventure and head on over to RJ Hamer Arboretum where we’ll wander the 4km Valley and Eagles Nest Loop. One of the most picturesque locations in the Dandenong Ranges National Park, the Valley Picnic Ground is a beautiful place to be regardless of the time of year.
